The American Red Cross Red & White Ball: When Help Can’t Wait.

The American Red Cross held its annual Red & White Ball, one of their largest fund raising events at the NetJets Hangar at the Westchester Airport. With over 460 guests, they raised more than $760,000 to help the American Red Cross provide immediate humanitarian aid to those affected by emergencies and disasters.

About the Designer:

Connie Cooper has been in the home furnishing industry for the last thirty years. She studied Interior Design at Michigan State University before earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile Design at Rhode Island School of Design. She is a member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), IDS (Interior Design Society) and has received her certification from the Sustainable Furnishings Council as a Certified Green Designer.

Earlier in her career, Cooper designed floor covering, textiles and wall covering for manufacturers and later designed high-end, hand-screen screened wallpaper under her own name. A color expert active in The Color Marketing Group, she also advised manufacturers on trends in color and design. Cooper moved to Hong Kong and traveled extensively during her seven years abroad, collecting Asian arts and antiques. This perspective helped nurture the eclectic approach and broad perspective she has brought to interior design.

Connie Cooper Designs specializes in producing client-centered residential work. With an imaginative eye, Connie Cooper guides clients in expressing their own taste rather than imposing a signature style. Her work has been featured in the Chimneys Designer Showhouse, Albert Hadley's Rooms with a View, Pink Aid, and The American Red Cross Red & White Ball.
