Polo Match Schedule" — Greenwich, CT
Polo Club" is the venue for high-goal polo in the Northeast.
Nestled in the beautiful back country of Greenwich, Connecticut
and internationally recognized for its rosters of legendary teams
and players, "Greenwich Polo Club" hosts public USPA high-goal
polo matches on Sundays in June, July, and September. The 2014 scheduled
dates are June 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, July 13th, August 31st,
and September 7th.
The gates open
at 1:00 pm and the matches start at 3:00 pm. The grounds are open
to the public to enjoy a lovely afternoon with family and friends,
and to socialize. You can pack a picnic lunch or enjoy a gourmet
concession stand offering a variety of healthy lunch specialties.
Gate fees are $40. per car. The dress code is "Garden Chic".

Show: "Greenwich Concours International" — Greenwich,
Greenwich "Concours International" and the "Bonhams
Auction" is on Sunday June 1st from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Automobilia
is at 9:30 am and Motorcars are at 12:30 pm. The show goes on rain
or shine. Admission
is $30 per day. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied
by an adult.
"Greenwich 12-M Yacht Development Foundation" will have
a display of former America's Cup 12-Meter yachts moored at the
Delamar Hotel. Given good weather, they will engage in match racing
during the weekend. Enjoy trying out the display of "Virtual
GT" driving simulators in the "Automobile Magazine/Motor
Trend Pavilion". There will be galleries of automotive art
and demonstrations, as well as imported marques. Classic motorcycles
will also be on display.

England Air Museum: "Antiques Auto Show" — Bradley
Int'l Airport, CT
"New England Air Museum" will hold its annual "Antiques
Auto Show" on Sunday, June 1st. Co-sponsored by the "Connecticut
Council of Car Clubs", this will be one of the larger auto
shows of the year. Visitors can expect a wide range of cars including
early antiques such as Model T’s, show cars from the 30’s
& 40’s, street rods, sports cars, the dream cars of the
50’s, and muscle cars of the 60’s and early 70’s.

"Auto Show" will run from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with the
museum staying open until 5:00 pm at Bradley International Airport.
A food vendor will be on site all day. Also available on the day
of the event will be the "New England Air Museum’s Flight
Sim Spot" which provides visitors with a high tech flight experience.
Admission is $12 for ages 12 and up, $11 for seniors 65 and up,
and $6.50 for ages 4 to 11. Children under 3 are admitted free.

Garden Tour" — Westport, CT
Westport Historical Society’s 22nd annual “Hidden Garden
Tour” celebration takes place on Sunday, June 2nd from 9 am
to 4 pm. Two dozen vendors will be set up selling plants, garden
tools and accessories, jewelry, lavender-scented pillows, beach
blankets and apparel, olive oils, antiques, and more. The tour itself
will feature five gardens, three in Westport and two in Wilton.
The locations of the gardens are not announced until the morning
of the event but you can read about them on their web site.
"Garden Tour" and "Marketplace" will be followed
by a "Toast the Tour" party at Gilbertie’s Herb
Gardens in Westport from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. There will be wine,
food and music during bidding at silent and live auctions. Tickets
are $50. There is no admission charge for the marketplace.

Food & Wine Fest: "Wine & Food Week" — White
Magazine's 4th Annual "Wine & Food Week", is a spectacular
annual event that draws thousands of enthusiastic guests each year
from Fairfield and Westchester Counties. It
presents world class wines from around the world, gourmet food samplings
from the region's top restaurants, and award-winning chefs who participate
in seminars, classes, and cook-offs.
